Hi,I'm Sky Nelson. I'm a junior honor student in high school. I have been nominated to join the National Honor Society.I love math, science and I love playing sports, doing arts and crafts and photgraphy.
Although, I have not taken many computer course, I am very interested in learning how to code, because I believe STEM is a way to advance myself in future endeavors.I am talented in mathematics and a little science.My chemistry Ms. Morris recommended that I signed up for courses in the STEM program. I believed that coding will be exciting and broaden my horizon for my future. I have found that using computers and technology is the way of the future. During this time, I know that learning and developing my skills in technology is the only way to advance in life. Using a computer can enchanced my abilites in the sports world and help me create works of art that are appealing and beautiful.I feel that Girls Who Code will introduce me to a variety of people and help me to be diverse in my undersatnding of others. I am a awesome person who hopes to have a career that will enchance other's lives and improve the quality of life in society.
During this trying time of COVID-19 I have learnt new skills, which intrigued me to seek out more knowledge that is why I applied to Girls Who Code Virtually.
